Nissan LEAF: First UK deliveries

Mark Goodier gets the first Nissan LEAF delivered in the UK It’s taken a while, but Nissan has finally got the Nissan LEAF on the road in the UK, with the first two customers picking up their cars this morning. Nissan dealers Glyn Hopkin in Waltham Abbey had a pair of nice, shiny, black Nissan LEAFs all prepped and ready to go this morning to the first two UK customers – DJ Mark Goodier and electronics engineer Richard Todd. Mark Goodier – once a Radio 1 key player but now out to pasture at Smooth FM – was the first to drive off in his LEAF, subsequently commenting on Twitter that “…I had a great smooth drive into London today”.

The Infiniti G37 Range of Saloon, Coupe and Convertible launched in the UK (Coupe pictured) So far we’ve had the Infiniti G37 Convertible Specifications; details on the Infiniti FX37 and FX50 – a full sized SUV – and the Infiniti EX37 – a compact SUV / Crossover. Today comes news on the G37 Range, which includes Saloon, Coupe and Convertible models. Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR – the Unique RHD versions

The unique RHD Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR The CLK-GTR is a by-product of Mercedes’ involvement in the FIA GT1 class in the late ’90s. A condition of entry for cars was that road-going versions had to be made, so Mercedes (along with Porsche, who built the even rarer Porsche 911 GT1 to compete in the series) bit the bullet and produced a very limited run of the GTR. Despite a passing resemblance to a CLK, the only parts that were actually CLK were the grill and the dash housing.
